For over 15 years, I’ve provided therapy to individuals and couples wanting to make long-lasting behavioral and life changes in order to improve their mental and physical well-being, their relationships, and ultimately their lives.

Having previously worked for over a decade in the business world and dealt with my own set of life challenges, I understand firsthand the personal and professional life stresses and challenges that lead a person to seek support. I believe my non-judgmental, caring, and informed approach to therapy creates an environment which provides the best setting for significant change.

I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), a well-researched, scientifically-based couples therapy that increases connection and intimacy between partners by developing practical skills to boost communication and empathy, leading to happier and healthier relationships. I have also helped individuals with issues related to bereavement, major professional and life transitions, trauma, and depression.

My approach is one that pairs thoughtful discussions with practical, day-to-day tools people can apply in their lives for lasting change. I also believe in engaging with daily “fundamentals,” such as taking care of your body, finding interests and activities that increase your joy, and introducing mindfulness and regulation techniques, to assist you on your path.

Positive change in individual therapy and marriage counseling is possible! I have witnessed it in my practice over and over again. We’re living in stressful times. Trying to push our way through pain or repress our internal experiences might provide relief in the short term, but unaddressed mental health issues inevitably catch up to us. I’m glad you’re taking this healthy step by finding some support and I sincerely look forward to joining you in your journey. Give me a call to set up a free consultation.

Overwhelmed? At a loss? Just need an ear? I’m Aaron, and I’m ready to help. I am open, inclusive, and supportive of all. I am trained in highly diverse relationships and lifestyles. As such, I firmly believe that all people are people, all love is love, and all should be supported with the same gusto. I want to commend you for taking this first step in considering therapy. Facing your unique challenges head on by participating in therapy takes strength and courage, and can end up being one of the most rewarding things you will ever do!

With the right support, everyone can experience their own healing path. It’s amazing how just feeling heard and understood can get us started on that path. I do not view unwanted feelings or behaviors as “bad,” but rather view them as responses to very real pain which can be treated with respect, acceptance, and eventually lead to healing and positive change!

My passion is helping relationships heal, grow, and thrive! This includes couples, families, and parent-child relationships. It is also an honor to provide care for individuals experiencing challenges too difficult to handle on their own. I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy, an approach that has been scientifically proven to help improve relationships and provide healing within ourselves. Every session will be customized to best fit your unique needs and goals.

I am continually inspired by the growth that can occur from openly sharing our pain with others in a safe and comforting environment. That’s what therapy is meant to be. There is healing on the other side of what we sometimes want to turn away from. Reaching out for help can be the kindest and bravest thing you do for yourself and your loved ones. I look forward to taking this journey with you!

¡Estoy emocionada de empezar contigo!
