I am grateful that you are here! I am passionate about providing quality therapy that is effective and grounded in sound research. In my previous role as a therapist at a Veterans Affairs Mental Health Outpatient Clinic I experienced it all; from severe PTSD/trauma to relationship conflict to depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. There is no issue you can bring to me that is too big for us to tackle!

Together we will dive deep into the heart of issues. I will come alongside you with compassion to create the safety and security necessary to explore your biggest challenges in life. I do not approach problems with tips and tricks. Instead, I go beyond superficial attempts at resolution. My number one aim is to walk with you through your experiences to help you face what is at the heart of your struggles and pain. You can expect me to be someone who genuinely cares, listens, and is completely invested in your goals. You will be given a non-judgmental space to be accepted for who you are, allowing space for positive, lasting change.

I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and beliefs. My areas of experience include:

  • Counseling with couples, individuals, children & teens, and families
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Faith based counseling
  • Relationship issues, infidelity, communication, conflict resolution, parenting, bonding, intimacy, and other life stressors
  • Depression
  • Anxiety, high levels of stress
  • PTSD/trauma
  • Personality disorders
  • Self improvement

I am excited and look forward to beginning this journey with you!

I want to commend you for taking this first step in considering therapy. Facing your unique challenges head on by participating in therapy takes strength and courage, and can end up being one of the most rewarding things you will ever do!

With the right support, everyone can experience their own healing path. It’s amazing how just feeling heard and understood can get us started on that path. I do not view unwanted feelings or behaviors as “bad,” but rather view them as responses to very real pain which can be treated with respect, acceptance, and eventually lead to healing and positive change!

My passion is helping relationships heal, grow, and thrive! This includes couples, families, and parent-child relationships. It is also an honor to provide care for individuals experiencing challenges too difficult to handle on their own. I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy, an approach that has been scientifically proven to help improve relationships and provide healing within ourselves. Every session will be customized to best fit your unique needs and goals.

I am continually inspired by the growth that can occur from openly sharing our pain with others in a safe and comforting environment. That’s what therapy is meant to be. There is healing on the other side of what we sometimes want to turn away from. Reaching out for help can be the kindest and bravest thing you do for yourself and your loved ones. I look forward to taking this journey with you!

¡Estoy emocionada de empezar contigo!

ongoing process of fresh challenges, and… it takes the right attitudes and activities to continue to be happy.” – Ed Diener
